Ham Radio

Studying for an FCC amateur radio license in 2025. By recommendation and for some pre-existing familiarity with digital and electronic concepts, I am aiming to take both the Technician and General levels at the same time. This opens up more of the HF bands for use.

After a few ARRL books from the library for background, using https://hamstudy.org/ to practice test. This also confirms that the further Extra license is out of my reach without a lot more study.

Following #HamRadio on Fediverse has given a scattered sense of global uses and interests.
